The Brashear Tiger baseball team hosted Linn County in the season home opener Tuesday. Jack Reeves took the mound and retired the first 3 batters, then Carson Erwin hit a 3-run homer to give Brashear a 3-0 lead after 1 inning. Rhett Whitlow would later add another home run as Brashear took a 12-8 win. Jack Reeves got the start with John Higgins and Alex Houghton pitching in relief.
